However, he still feels mentally constrained because of the pollution in the city environment. This includes EMF pollution from cell towers, smart meters, and the overall air pollution. He may actually be depressed as a result. However, those two aforementioned activities help him escape the city’s claustrophobic and rigid effect on him.

He craves the mountains, which also represent spiritual growth in Indian and Tibetan traditions, and give him greater creativity, hence his development of the Heartcarve ski whilst skiing.

This is recognized in Taoist culture and art as well, ie Heaven vs Earth imagery.

Brigitte is a skateboarder and dancer (B-Girl), and Danny discovers this when he visits China (or whatever is her birth country.) This ends up bringing them closer together. Also, the two of them become mini-celebrities by the end of the story due to footage of the Big Race, similar to Adrian Boron and the footage of Twurp’s Burps.
