Sky Tayla and Alfred Henshore
Sky inherited her father’s evil empire young as he died suddenly with a stroke. She is an assassin and a pilot and she executed her half-siblings in self-defense as they were planning to kill her when their father died. Alfred is her partner and he has multiple wives. Sky became very insecure when her father died, and Alfred also encourages her to take revenge against the traitors in her extended clan who wanted to usurp the empire. Really Alfred murdered her father.
Bond accidentally kills both Sky’s twin infant children and that’s why she tries (and fails) to kill him in the end. She also finds out Alfred killed her father and that pushes her into self-destruction of both the world and herself.
Henshore: he is sure of his hens and his hens are sure of him! Eventually Sky wants exclusivity of Alfred due to her insecurities and Alfred admits to one of his wives (Prudence) that he murdered Sky’s father (she records it) and then Prudence plays Sky the recording who then confronts Alfred on it.
Sky then realizes her insecurity also comes with her unconscious knowing that Alfred killed her father: partly as a way to support his wives, but also because he liked Sky and that would drive her to him. She bore twins to him. He also comes from a competing bloodline – although that was hidden to the father – and Alfred also coveted the father’s empire and thought that the subsequent in-fighting would be a means for him to take it over. Alfred wanted to start his own dynasty with his lowly wives.
Alfred stole a birth certificate and pretended to be from the same clan as Sky’s father and was trustworthy.
