2018 – The Gianni Versace signature motif is born – and the House of Drew.

In Jerusalem, January 2018, I devised an outfit from Versace 90’s gear and a James Bond print. The Beeodd mark is from ~2015.

Then:

Later in the year:

Presently – “Gianni Versace’s handwriting is placed on an assortment of clothing and accessories”… which has been in effect since late 2018.

Ultimately leading to:

Similar outcome to House of Drew.

Damaged watch (1914)
Victoria Cross : Corporal G J Howell, 1 Battalion, AIF (1917) / Julian Howell
“Howell was seen to leap on to the exposed trench parapet and run along until he was above the Germans, throwing bombs and forcing them back. After he had exhausted his supply of grenades he continued to pursue to retreating Germans with his bayonet until he fell, badly wounded, into the trench.”

Victoria Cross : Lieutenant R V Moon, 58 Battalion, AIF (1917) / Vance Moon
– “On the morning of the 12th of May 1917, in portion of the HINDENBURG LINE East of BULLECOURT, Lieut. MOON displayed most conspicuous bravery in an attack on a German strong point. His own immediate objective was a position in advance of the enemy trench. His orders were, having captured this, to move on to the trench itself, co-operate in the general attack in progress there, and in a further assault on another strong point immediately in rear.”

“At the height of the First World War during Spring 1917 in northern France, two young British soldiers, Schofield and Blake, are given a mission to hand-deliver a message to the 2nd Battalion of the Devonshire Regiment, calling off their planned attack on the German forces. The Germans have feigned retreat to the Hindenburg Line and are prepared to ambush the battalion of 1,600 men, Blake’s brother among them.” ~ 1917 Film (2019)

Jackie Brown – Interview with Pam Grier & Quentin Tarantino (1997)

Jackie Brown - Interview with Pam Grier & Quentin Tarantino (1997)

* note: the pic at far right is to highlight the irreverent, controversial and iconoclastic nature of the Heartcarve paradigm. While it may seem comical or inappropriate at first, possibly leading to resentment – it doesn’t have to be that way – any minority group should find ways to hold the MacGuffin even if at first it feels like a burden or embarrassment.

I think one key to overcoming racism is cutting through the embarrassment dished out by one’s own tribal group for actually assimilating – understanding self and other.

In my view, “racism” can be a racism-promoting word if it unconsciously pulls someone into a competition or war for resources – “color-bias,” “skin-centricity,” “third eye blindness” or even “anti-fam” might be better.
